Hi All! If you have purchased the BrainViz License successfully, make sure you log yourself out of Emotiv Launcher application and log back in to refresh the license authentication process and you should be able to access the app properly then.
Hi Jeong Dong-Ki,
If you are a current student, please email our support team at hello@emotiv.com and provide them with your student ID credentials, along with photos of your Student ID card, and your student email address associated with your school domain and our support team can review the supporting document. Please make sure that you also register an EmotivID account using your student email address as well.As soon as the review process is completed and the application is approved, you will receive an email with further instructions about how to acquire student PRO licenses.Hi Christoper!
Thanks for the question and for sharing your interest in using the Emotiv EPOC X for interactive content creation. It’s great to hear that you’re exploring how our technology can enhance your projects! While EmotivPRO Lite offers some functionality, it does have limitations in terms of real-time data streaming, PRO-lite only allows you to view real-time EEG data, Frequency Bands, Motion data and Low-resolution Performance metrics, but you can’t make more than 5 recordings or export data out of the software. Upgrading to a paid PRO license will allow you to leverage premium features of the software such as Lab Streaming Layer (LSL), unlock unlimited recordings or leverage Builder and Analyzer tool.
To work with EEG data in real time and stream it into third-party applications, there are a few alternative approaches you could consider:
- Custom Development: If you have development experience, you might explore our Emotiv Cortex SDK, which provides more flexibility in accessing and using EEG data. The SDK allows you to build custom applications that can stream data in real-time directly into Unity, or other environments.
- You can also learn about BCI-OSC (Open Sound Control) to streamline BCI data streams into other applications in real time, enabling you to integrate brainwave data directly into your interactive installations such as MaxMSP.
Feel free to email our support team at hello@emotiv.com should you require more information!
