Just ordered an Emotive Insight 2.0 and am trying to understand how to perform baseline testing and interpreting the data. Do I need to purchase additional software to viz / interpret data obtained from the Brain Computer Interface (BCI) ?

Some citizen science experiments I am interested to explore: (a) How brain waves change with intermittent fasting.  (b) Simple lie-detection signal analysis (c) Deception analysis (d) Impact of food on brain signals. For example, does a Cilantro drink improve/impact any signal (e) combining bio-feedback from a glucose monitor with any feedback from BCI to plan food consumption timing (f) Brain signal change while engaging in business writing compared with legal writing? Is there any difference when the brain is engaged in interpreting facts and case laws compared to everyday business writing? (g) Sleep Apnea and late night TV watching. How brain signals change with and without watching late night TV for a person with confirmed sleep apnea. (h) Cognitive load on driver while trying to avoid glare from oncoming vehicle.

Given this broad range of experiments, would Insight 2.0 be sufficient? Do I need any other specialized software? Is there any possibility to collaborate with any Profs/Academia who may be interested in any of citizen science projects described?

Any thoughts or feedback is appreciated. Will be happy to share my data.
