I have another question regarding my EPOC+ headset:
I’m using the Emotiv EPOC+ with EmotivPro for research, but consistently experience poor EEG signal quality (typically below 50% stability) despite:
- Proper headset adjustment
- Adequate electrode moistening (using saline solution)
- Minimizing environmental interference
My specific questions are:
- Could Bluetooth interference be the primary culprit? While I understand wireless signals can affect performance, I’m unsure to what degree.
- Is there a wired USB connection option for the EPOC+ to potentially improve signal stability? Currently using it wirelessly. If available:
- What hardware/adapters are needed?
- What EmotivPro settings should be adjusted?
