I am using the EPOC+ headset for my research and have noticed that, although the EEG contact quality remains at 100%, the signal quality is very unstable, constantly fluctuating between values such as 100, 0, and 52. In my project, I am working with older adults who need to perform various activities on the computer for approximately 30 minutes, and for most of that time, the signal quality varies continuously. I would like to know if it is appropriate to analyze the EEG signals under these conditions or if this instability could affect the reliability of the results. If analysis is feasible, what would be the minimum recommended signal quality percentage to ensure reliable data processing?
