I’ll like to know (from both the users and the Emotiv team) what are de benefits of the “Performance” tier of the EmotivPro License.
In the products page, this tier says it offers the following:
– High Res Performance metrics (2Hz)
– D-LABS Integration
– Lab Streaming Layer (LSL)
The thing is… I don’t know what any of that means.
So if any of the userbase knows how this tools can be apply to a project or just tell me about your experience using them; or if someone from Emotiv can clarify how to use them; I would be very thankful.
“Hi, I’m currently using the Emotiv Standard License, which is about to expire soon. I need to confirm whether the Standard License still includes LSL interface support, or if I should consider upgrading to a different plan like Standard Team or Performance. I really need the LSL interface, but I haven’t received a response from Emotiv support yet, and I’m a bit confused about which license to purchase. Could you help me out?”
As far as I know, the Lab Streaming Layer (LSL) is only available for the “Performance” Tier of the License.
Personally, I have not purchased or used that Tier of the license, so I cannot confirm anything for you.
“but I haven’t received a response from Emotiv support yet”
I haven’t had a response lately either. But maybe they are very busy lately? I don’t know.
So I guess we’ll just have to keep waiting for someone from support to respond, or wait for some customer/user who’s just browsing this forum to see this post.
“Yes, you’re absolutely right! I got confirmation on this as well. I also shared it on LinkedIn, and people in the field confirmed the same. Thanks for your input! Hopefully, Emotiv support gets back to us soon.”
“Hey! Just checking in—were you able to get the answers you were looking for regarding the Performance tier benefits? Hope things worked out! My team is also planning to purchase the ‘Performance’ Tier of the License, so I’d love to hear about your experience if you’ve explored it further.”
