Upon investigation, I found that the standards used in the scientific community to divide the bands into Theta, Alpha, Beta, and Gamma (with subdivisions for Lows and Highs) don’t match the Hz ranges used by default in the Emotiv Pro Analyzer application.

I know the program allows these parameters to be modified, but I would like to know why they are set this way.

I also know that there are articles that discuss how in the scientific community there is No consensus on how to subdivide the waves, especially with the Beta subbands.

Some divide it into Beta 1, 2, and 3; others into Low, Mid, and High. In some experiments, there are only two Beta subdivisions, and in others, there are up to four… That’s why I ask.

So I would like to know what classification (Hz ranges) you use or recommend from Emotiv.

      Is there a specific reason?
Is there any documentation that supports your choice, that I can read to guide me on this?

I await your response, & thank you very much.
