Hello, I have been waiting for a response from technical support on the issue of equipment failure for more than a month. I sent the following request:
“I have a problem with the battery and charging of the Emotiv Epoc X headset (new, used for only a week, less than 6 hours per day).
The battery was fully charged before the session. After 1.5h sessions it was about 85%. Then I plugged device to PC (with original cable) to charge before a new session. After 1.5h of charging, I prepared it by injecting “ReNu” into sensor felts. Then I started to set up the device on the head, but it did not turn on. It did not respond for 15 minutes. Then it turned on, but the battery level was about 10%. I connected it to the power adapter and after 2 hours of charging it was 5%.
After a night of charging, the helmet indicator lights up green. I connected device to PC using the original cable and the EMOTIV Launcher application detects the device. The helmet turned on. However, when I unplugged it and tried to turn it on again, the helmet didn’t respond. Now, it turns on only with usb connection.
      What could be the problem?”

In addition, the second helmet, which I have been using for no more than 4 weeks, has a noisy battery and is not being calibrated. If anyone has encountered a similar problem, please let me know.
Helmet model “EPOC X with 14 Channel Wireless EEG Headset”.
